Do you have disability access to your showroom?
We have an easily accessible showroom located on the ground floor of the building. Please call us if you have any particular needs you'd like to discuss prior to visiting our showroom.
How long is my sofa guaranteed for?
Every sofa purchased from us is covered by our 10-year structure guarantee, other features are also covered for 1 year.
What happens if my furniture is damaged on delivery?
In the unlikely event that your furniture arrives with signs of damage, our delivery team will complete a damage report form to record the problem. They will ask you to sign it. They may also take photographs to accompany the paperwork.
If the furniture is useable, despite the damage, we’re happy for you to go ahead and use it.
The damage Report will be returned to the head office, logged against your order number, and assessed for action
A Tech Sofa customer support member will be contact to arrange a visit to repair the problem back to manufacturing standards. If a repair cannot be made, we will replace the furniture, or give a full refund.
A full refund shall be limited to the original purchase price paid for the unsatisfactory merchandise.
What if I discover a fault with my furniture after delivery?
If you ordered online and your item develops a fault within 14 days of delivery, please contact us via email or call us on 01452 689 545.
After 14 days from delivery, please call our Customer Support team on 01452 689 545. Your options may vary depending on the nature of the fault and time you’ve had the item.
Do you have a showroom / Is there a showroom near me?
Our Gloucester showroom is open Monday to Friday, 9 am until 5 pm for viewings by appointment. Our appointment system allows a dedicated Tech expert to demonstrate the products in an uninterrupted, relaxed environment, answering any questions you may have. Have no fear, we DON'T do pressure sales and consequently do not take orders in-house.
If Gloucester is too far to travel, we can offer a virtual viewing where you can explore the products remotely and ask any questions you may have.
Do I need to book an appointment to visit your showroom?
Yes, please. Our appointment system allows a dedicated Tech expert to demonstrate the products in an uninterrupted, relaxed environment, answering any questions you may have.
Have no fear, we DON'T do pressure sales and consequently do not take orders in-house.
Is the warranty transferrable if I sell my sofa?
Under the terms of the policy, it is not transferable through selling/passing on the furniture.
It is transferable under an act of law, for example, death or divorce for name change on the policy.
Do Tech Sofa sell easy gliders?
No, we do not sell these as they do very little to assist the movement of the sofas on most floor coverings.
Delivery Information
Can I specify or request a delivery date?
We do our best to accommodate specific dates where we can but this cannot be guaranteed as we do all of our own deliveries nationwide from our Gloucester location.
Can I change my delivery address?
You can update your delivery address prior to dispatch by emailing us at hello@techsofa.com
Can I track my order?
We're busy working on this feature and it will be going live in the near future.
Meanwhile, we offer a delivery date and then update you a day or two beforehand to let you know roughly what time to expect our delivery team to arrive. The team will also call you half an hour ahead of arrival.
Can you take away my old sofa?
Unfortunately we do not offer a removal service for your old furniture. If you require removal or disposal contact your local council or charities who may be able to help in the responsible removal/disposal of your old furniture.
Do you deliver to Northen Ireland?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer delivery of Tech Sofas to Northern Ireland.
How much will delivery cost?

I don’t have a lift in building, can you deliver up flights of stairs?
If your furniture is to be taken upstairs, please measure the clearance height and width, especially if your staircase curves. We're happy to assist if you send us measurements.
NB The overall responsibility of the sofa being navigated into position lies with the customer and the delivery fee may not be refunded if the sofa does not fit.
What if my furniture does not fit?
It’s important to check that it will fit into your house and your room before ordering. Please measure all doors, stairways and the chosen space as carefully as possible. Tech Sofa cannot accept responsibility for furniture not fitting, as ultimately it is up to you, the customer, to measure. If the worst happens and your delivered furniture won’t fit in, we can offer advice on what to do next.
What is the delivery lead time?
We aim to deliver within 2-4 weeks and as soon as your order is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a convenient date and time to deliver.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Unfortunately we cannot supply you with an exact time at the time of booking but we can let you know a day or two in advance whether it will be AM or PM delivery.
Where do you deliver to?
Delivery is available to mainland England, Scotland and Wales only.
Will you place my furniture in my preferred room and take away the packaging?
As part of our delivery service, our delivery team will place your new product in your room of choice and remove all packaging for recycling. A full demo on how to use the product will be given.
Do you deliver overseas?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer delivery of Tech Sofas overseas.

Will your delivery team assemble my Tech Sofa?
As part of our delivery service, our delivery team will place your new product in your room of choice and remove all packaging for recycling. A full demo on how to use the product will be given.
What happens if I can't be available on the day I'm offered delivery?
It's no problem if the date we offer is not convenient for you. Your order will go back to the schedulers and we'll contact you to when we're next scheduled to deliver in your area.
Do the sofa backs come off for delivery?
The backs come off all Tech Sofa products except Series Five and Series Eight. Please check dimensions and get in touch with us if you need any advice about delivery.
How many pieces does the sofa arrive in?
Please see each product listing for the number of pieces and dimensions.
How can you deliver so fast?
All our sofas are held in stock in our Gloucester warehouse, ready to go. We do 95% of our own deliveries scheduling van runs up and down the country 5 days a week.
Will I get a call ahead of my delivery?
We call customers to offer a delivery date with around one week's notice so the latest you should hear from us is 3 weeks from your order date.
We call you again a day or two ahead of the delivery date to give you a time slot so you're not waiting in all day for our team.
The team will then call you when they're half an hour away.
Finance
Do you offer interest free credit?
Tech Sofa can offer 0% interest-free credit, subject to approval.
You are able to pay for your Tech Sofa with finance through either Creation or Klarna at checkout, so long as the repayment terms are affordable for you and you understand the risks of not making payments on time. Klarna and Creation are flexible enough to allow you to choose finance from 6 months up to 3 years/36 months.
For finance, select either Klarna (15% deposit required) or Creation (no deposit required) at the checkout stage and follow the application process.

When do my payments start?
If your finance application is successful, finance payments start after the delivery of your order.
Who can apply for finance?
If you meet the following conditions, you will be able to apply for Interest-Free Credit:
You must be 18 years of age or over.
You’re in permanent full or part-time employment, self-employed, retired or receive Disability Allowance.
You have lived in the UK for at least 36 months and will continue to do so.
Your purchase must be delivered to your home address.
If your delivery and billing addresses are different, Creation will request additional identification to eliminate fraudulent purchases.
Finance should only be applied for if the monthly payments are affordable without causing hardship or reduced standard of living.

Can I make changes to my online order?

Do you offer discount codes? Blue Light, NHS etc.
We don't generally offer discount codes. However, if you sign up to our newsletter, you'll be the first to find out when we do! We run Black Friday and Boxing Day events.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards including MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
We also offer interest free credit, provided by Creation or Klarna Finance. Please refer to our Finance page for more information.
We're sorry, we don't accept payments by Paypal.
How do I measure for my sofa?

How secure is shopping on techsofa.com?
If you make an online purchase on techsofa.com, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

I've placed an order but heard nothing?
We schedule all our own deliveries nationwide to give the best service possible. We give around one week's notice of the delivery date so the latest you should hear from us would 3 weeks from your order date. We'll give you a call as soon as we know when we're delivering in your area.
The item I want is out of stock. What can I do?
In this unlikely event, please click Notify Me and provide an email address to be advised when the product is back in stock.
What colour are Tech Sofas? / Are other colours available? / Are all the fabrics and colours available on every Series?
The available colours are only those shown on Techsofa.com. Our sofas are ready-made in stock therefore the fabrics cannot be interchanged.

We don't make or sell sofas for anyone else. We have no affiliation or links with any other sofa company.
Returns and Refunds
Can I cancel my order?
To cancel your order before delivery, please email hello@techsofa.com
Can I exchange my sofa for a different one?
We can exchange your sofa for a different model within 14 days of delivery. Collection and re-delivery charges apply. Please contact hello@techsofa.com in the first instance.
How will I be refunded?
Refunds will be paid using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.
I’d like to return my order.
You have 14 days from delivery to advise us if you'd like to return your order and we will arrange collection. Collection charges apply and a usage charge may be applied if the order is not returned in perfect condition.
When will I see my refund in my account?
Refunds made to a credit or debit card may not show in your account straightaway due to the clearing time required by banks to process the refund. Typically, this can take up to seven working days but varies depending on the bank. Please contact your card issuer or bank directly with any queries.
Can you process my refund on to different credit/debit card?
Refunds will be paid using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.
Technical
How far away from the wall does a Tech Sofa need to be to be able to recline freely?
Most series only need 10cm clearance behind them to recline freely. Series Five and Eight need no space behind them.
What is the fabric made of?
Series One, Two, Three, Four and Six are 100% polyester. Series Five, Seven and Eight are real, premium leather.
Are Tech Sofas modular / can I change the configuration?
The available configurations are only those shown on techsofa.com.
Tech Sofas are not modular. They are ready-made in stock therefore the sections cannot be interchanged.
Where are the sofas made?
The sofas are designed in the USA, made in China and held in stock ready for despatch in Gloucester, UK.
Can I link two or more sofas to the same Bluetooth connection
This functionality is not currently available in Tech Sofas but will be available in future models.
